MTRSEF High School Honors Division Rules

All high school honors division participants:

• Pre-approval deadline is Dec. 5, 2025 (in MySciFair)

• Final registration deadline is Feb. 20, 2026 (in MySciFair)

• ALL ISEF paperwork is due on Feb. 20, 2026 (submitted in MySciFair)

• Participants must upload their abstract (300 word maximum) and a digital copy of their poster by Feb. 20, 2026 (in MySciFair)

Regeneron ISEF Rule Changes for 2026:

• ALL photos, tables, graphs, or graphics on posters MUST be fully cited with the website they came from, or, must state if created by student. NO BLANKET STATEMENTS ALLOWED.

• Any graphics, tables, graphs, etc. created by student MUST state which program was used to create it.

• Students will be required to disclose the use of AI (further guidance coming).

• The overall allowable height of student boards has been decreased to 95", including table height.

ISEF Paperwork

• ALL HONORS DIVISION PAPERWORK WILL BE SUBMITTED THROUGH MYSCIFAIR. Click on https://myscifair.com/create-an-account?r=&state=missouri to go to the page for our fair, create an account, and complete your paperwork there. 

• Projects requiring pre-approval will begin the registration process in order to do their ISEF paperwork. Our SRC will be able to approve your paperwork in MySciFair.

• All projects must have the following forms submitted to be eligible to compete:

  • Form 1

  • Form 1A

  • Form 1B 

  • Form 3

• Any projects involving humans, vertebrate animals, microorganisms, or potentially hazardous biological materials must submit the appropriate forms, as detailed in the 2025 ISEF Rules.
